Customer opens Citrix Studio and go to "Sessions" panel, there is a column named "Launched Via" which normally displays the host name of Storefront.
But in customer's environment, it displays a non-environmental hostname.
The hostname of Launched Via is resolved by "Launched Via (IP)".
DNS reverse resolved the IP address with incorrect hostname in customer's environment.
1. Open Citrix Studio, choosing "Delivery Groups" on the Console Tree.
2. Double click the delivery groups containing the affected recorded desktop.
3. Switch to "Sessions" panel.
4. Right click on the title bar, choosing "Select Columns".
5. Check the box of "Launched Via (IP)", Clicking "OK" to save.
6. Run the command in the "Command Prompt": nslookup -q=ptr <Launched Via (IP)>.
Check the host name returned by the command line. If it is same as displayed on "Launched Via", please contact the DNS administrator to confirm the relevant DNS records.
On Citrix Studio, there is "Launched Via" column in the "Sessions" panel.
Normally, this column displays the host name of the Storefront.
