When a new vdisk is created, you can make changes by creating a new vdisk version. However, if you click “New” to create a version, an error message “VHD error” always appears.
The .vhdx file for the vdisk version may have become corrupted.
Since this is a newly created vdisk with no other versions, you can follow these steps to fix it:
Back up all vdisk .vhdx and .pvp files.
Remove the target device association with this vdisk.
Delete the vdisk from the PVS console, but keep the .vhdx file(s) on storage.
Re-import the vdisk file; the .pvp file will be generated automatically.
Create a new vdisk version and apply your changes there.
When create new vdisk ,it always failed with different message pop up .
