Description
After upgrading to VDA 2402 CU2, users may see black screen / black patches in place of published seamless application when switching display mode between Extend / PC Screen Only / Second Screen Only etc. in a multimonitor setup. This problem may not be seen consistently and could be seen intermittently.
Cause
In some environments, the default setting of Use when Preferred would select full screen codec ("For the entire screen") which can result in such issues. Setting it manually to "For actively changing regions" will make sure that the problem is avoided.
Resolution
Setting the "Use Video Codec for compression" graphics policy to "For actively changing regions" resolved the problem.
