Description
When trying to add new VMs to an existing MCS catalog an error “A provision task failed: Cannot bind argument to parameter ’ADAccountname’ because it is an empty string” comes up right after the process starts
Resolution
• Cleared available and tainted SIDs under ‘Manage AD accounts’ though Cloud Studio
• Restarted Broker and MCS services in the DDCs
• Stopped pending ProvTasks not related to active processes via PowerShell through the DDCs
• After this, the customer was able to add new machines to the catalog

Problem Cause
• Possible problems with Citrix Broker services in the DDCs, or conflicts with tainted and available objects SIDs
