Description

When booting from the Network, to run the Imaging Wizard or simply to boot from a vDisk, the following Blue Screen message is displayed:
*** STOP 0x0000007E
***      CVhdMp.sys
Error: BNIStack failed, network stack could not be initialized

Resolution

If you want to create an installation package for installation of Light Agent virtual machines where Citrix Provisioning Services technology is used, the Ksvla3.kud file has to be used.
Make the following changes to the Ksvla3.kud file in advance:

in the [Setup] section, at the end of the Params=/s /pAKINSTALL=1 /pEULA=1 string, add the parameter /pINSTALLONPVS=1

Problem Cause

The Kaspersky Agent was not installed using the documented parameters for compatibility with the PVS Target Device Software.

 

Issue/Introduction

CTX217997 explains that a BSOD (STOP 0x0000007E CVhdMp.sys) in Citrix Provisioning Services environments is caused by a Kaspersky Agent incompatibility, and the issue is resolved by installing the Kaspersky Agent using the PVS compatibility parameter /pINSTALLONPVS=1.
