Description
Users experience slow performance when using the realistic view option within the Revit application. The performance is particularly slow when loading complex models and when rotating the models while editing. VDA machines were using NVIDIA A40-4Q graphics driver and VDA Version: 2203.0.3000.3300
Cause
Incorrect Graphics policies
Resolution
Following graphics policy changes were made to resolve the problem:
1. Disable Legacy Graphics mode - This mode is not recommended for modern OS and CVAD platforms. It is applicable only for pre Windows 7 / 2008 R2 OS and Xenapp / Xendesktop 7.15 and earlier.
2. Enable Optimize for 3D graphics workload policy
3. Set Use Video Codec For Compression policy to Use when preferred
