When Citrix Clipboard Redirection is enabled, it is observed that once Chrome browser window is opened and placed on foreground in ICA desktop session, client-to-client copy/paste will stop working.
For instance, copy a text in client-side notepad and attempt to paste it in the same client-side notepad, nothing can be pasted out.
When the client-side copy action took place, Citrix Workspace app for Windows attempted to sync the client-side clipboard change with the ICA session. However, the clipboard sync-up failed.
As a result, Citrix Workspace app for Windows cleared the client-side clipboard so that the client-side paste action outputted nothing.
The underlying reason is that, in the ICA session, a Symantec DLP extension named "brkrprcs64.exe" was always auto started and ran along with Chrome.exe, which interfered with Citrix clipboard sync-up.
The issue is addressed by removing Symantec DLP from the affected VDA VM.
