Description

• The customer was doing some maintenance tasks and needed to delete about 100 VDAs from a machine catalog
• He was able to run the deletomg process fine, but after it finished, the Machine catalog reported a warning
• Looking at the troubleshooting tab for that catalog, it shows three machines reporting an error "1 of 1 accounts could not be deleted from identity pool"
• However all 100 machines no longer exist in the hypervisor, AD, and Studio

Resolution

• After executing a new ProvTask (adding a test VDA) against the affected catalog, the error message was reset

Problem Cause

• False positive error, possibly caused by interruptions during the VDA deleting process
• Sometimes, ProvTasks may experience interruptions or time-outs that occur in milliseconds, this can be seen as an error and a warning may appear in the Machine catalog after the task is completed.
• These warnings won’t disappear from Studio until a new task is executed against the same catalog
