Users who are on Citrix Workspace app for Mac 2503, attempting to launch Citrix sessions, may encounter a failure. The following error message is displayed to the end user:

“No Citrix SSL Server configured on the specified address." as below.

This issue is fixed with the Citrix Workspace app for Mac version 2503.10 which was released on 12th May 2025

Workaround: 

In case you need to continue using 2503, then the administrator can resolve this issue by implementing at least one of the following workarounds:

• Enable Session Reliability Connections

  • Set the Citrix policy “Session Reliability Connections” to “Allowed”.

OR

• Disable HDX Adaptive Transport:

  • Set the Citrix policy “HDX adaptive transport” to “Off”.

Problem Cause

This issue occurs when the Citrix policy “Session Reliability Connections” is set to “Prohibited” and “HDX adaptive transport” policy is set to “Preferred”. This specific combination of policy settings leads to the session launch failure and the “No Citrix SSL Server configured on the specified address” error when the customer is using Citrix Workspace app for Mac 2503.
