After upgrading the License Server to the latest version (License Server 11.17.2.0, Build 51000), the following warning message is observed:
"The License Activation Service entitlement could not be retrieved. Check your connection to License Activation Service and restart the web services used for Licensing."
The License Activation Service (LAS) is a new cloud-based licensing solution that enhances performance and customer experience while minimizing the risk of outages compared to the traditional licensing model (v6).
Follow the below steps to configure License Server for License Activation Service:
1.Register the License Server with Citrix Cloud for License Activation Service using Citrix Licensing Manager.
2.On the Citrix Licensing Manager, click Go to Registration, then click Register, and copy the generated code.
3.Ensure that the URLs listed in the following documentation are allowed to the LAS endpoint - https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/licensing/current-release/citrix-licensing-manager/register-remove-registration.html#register-your-citrix-license-server
4.Once whitelisted , log in to Citrix Cloud. Ensure that your organization is onboarded using an account that includes the relevant licenses.
5.Access Identity and Access Management on DAAS console> API Access > Product Registrations.
6. Click Register, paste the code, and click Register again.
