1) Check the MSI installation log from below location:

Location: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp 

2) Confirm if the logs point out to the below error:

MSI (s) (98:40) [05:41:53:271]: Product: Citrix Federated Authentication Service -- Installation failed.

MSI (s) (98:40) [05:41:53:272]: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Citrix Federated Authentication Service. Product Version: 10.17.1100.16. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Citrix Systems, Inc.. Installation success or error status: 1603.

3) Download and use the fresh setup file for FAS from the Citrix download page and run the installer.

4) Confirm that the installation succeeds.
