Resolution
In case where we have different list of packages in 2 tables mentioned in this article, database cleanup is required.
Please contact Citrix Support if you face this issue as we need to double check the list of packages, applications and used policies before any cleanup.
There will be a fix in the next release which should prevent this issue in the future.
Problem Cause
One of possible causes:
Information about some of the packages is still in the Site database> AppLibrarySchema.AppVServerPackage table and not in AppLibrarySchema.AppVPackage table.
This can occur if:
- CleanupAbsentPackages value in Package Discovery Profile is set to TRUE.
- Some packages have been removed from the APP-V server.
You can check the discovery profile and CleanupAbsentPackages value from powershell (on Delivery Controller) if you run:
Get-AppLibPackageDiscoveryProfile
You can also check Site database from SQL Management Studio; check if there is a different count of packages in 2 tables, example:
SELECT * FROM AppLibrarySchema.AppVServerPackage
WHERE AppVPackageUid not in (
SELECT uid
FROM AppLibrarySchema.AppVPackage
)
