Customer is attempting to store encrypted credentials in the Windows Credentials Store as described in the uberAgent documentation (https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/uberagent/7-3-1/uxm-features-configuration/username-and-configuration-setting-encryption-2.html), but uberAgent is unable to read the credentials.

Resolution

Download the attached script.  Utilizing PSExec, execute the script via the following command:

PsExec.exe -i -s powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File AddSecretToStore.ps1

Problem Cause

Credentials MUST be saved under the SYSTEM account, which can only be done via PSExec.  Also, the New-StoredCredential function in the Windows Credential Manager module cannot be used to set the credentials as it stores them with UTF-16 encoding; uberAgent expects them to be stored with UTF-8 encoding.  The current uberAgent documentation does not contain the steps necessary to remedy this issue.
