Attempting to start the uberAgent service results in a failure.  The uberAgent.log file shows messages similar to the following:

Retrieve a new copy of the license file from the MyCitrix license portal.

Problem Cause

uberAgent’s license files are secured by a signature.  When the agent checks the license file, it also verifies the signature of the file. If the file was manipulated, the signature will be invalid.  This can happen on purpose or by accident when customers open a license file in a text editor and save it accidentally.
