An operating system with uberAgent installed continues to show a splash screen during user login, stating the agent is running an Evaluation Version.  The uberAgent.log file shows messages similar to the following:

Confirm that the license file is valid and has not expired.

For local license installation:

• Confirm that the license file exists in the installation directory

For Central License File Management:

• Confirm that the LicenseFilePath option is set to the correct UNC path in the agent configuration.
  • Only the folder path is required; do not include the license file name in this option.
• Confirm that the Computer object of the machine has Read access to the share.

Problem Cause

A valid license file for uberAgent must be either:

• Distributed with the agent and placed in the installation directory
• Provided via Central License File Management

If a valid, non-expired license file cannot be not found in the installation directory, or is inaccessible via Central License File Management, then the agent will run in Evaluation mode.
