ELM Migration stalled at 93% when attempting to migrate ELM appliance from version 24.3.9.1045 to 24.9.0.1

1.Validate the Storage space in ELM console.

 Steps:  Login to ELM appliance -> Select  "System" -> Select  "Monitoring and Storage" .

 View "Details" section to check the Storage Utilization.

2. Add additional storage space as required from the VMware vCenter for the ELM Appliance.

For this instance, 100 GB was added.

3. Next , expand the storage space from ELM Appliance console.

Steps:  Select  "System" -> Select  "Monitoring and Storage"  -> Select "Expand Storage".

4. Once completed, attempt the migration again.

Problem Cause

Here, the existing ELM appliance Storage space was 600 GB , new Appliance Storage space was 500 GB and had only 3% free space due to which migration was stalling at 93%. As this was insufficient , it caused the migration failure.
