Environment

Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.

Resolution

To disable the collection of Google analytics data, update following setting in the registry on the machine where Citrix Studio is installed:

  1. Open Registry Editor (regedit).
  2. Navigate to registry Path: HKLM\Software\Citrix\DesktopStudio
  3. Edit the value for following DWORD value: "GAEnabled".
  4. Set the value to '0'. A value of 1 enables collection and upload, and a value of 0 disables collection and upload.

Problem Cause

Google Analytics are collected (and later uploaded) automatically when you install (or upgrade) Citrix Studio.
