Splunk dashboard (CVAD/DaaS Applications & Desktops) does not display any information about published applications and desktops for DAAS.

uberAgent.log file located in C:\Windows\Temp on the machine used for Citrix Cloud monitoring shows the errors:

2025-03-05 12:11:08.145 +0000,ERROR,DOMAIN,MACHINENAME$,17528,GetBearerTokenFromResponse,Failed to parse JSON object: [json.exception.parse_error.101] parse error at line 1, column 1: attempting to parse an empty input; check that your input string or stream contains the expected JSON

This indicates that agent is not able to obtain a bearer token required for communication with Citrix Cloud.

Example evidence of aborted API request:

2025-03-05 12:11:08.145 +0000,ERROR,DOMAIN,MACHINENAME$,17528,GetMachines,Aborting API query to https://citrix_example.cloud.com/monitorodata/Machines?$filter=LifecycleState%20eq%200%20or%20LifecycleState%20eq%202 because of multiple failures.

Resolution

Check the uberAgent.conf located in C:\Programdata\vast limits\uberAgent\Configuration on the machine used for Citrix Cloud monitoring.

Locate [CitrixCloud_Config]

Make sure that the API Gateway URL is correct.

Example:

The API endpoint option must contain to full URL to the Citrix Cloud server.

Problem Cause

Incorrect API endpoint URL configured in the uberAgent.config.

Multiple API endpoints configured in the same config file (One for Europe and one for Americas)
