When using PVS Citrix Virtual Desktops Setup Wizard, it creates machines however every other machine fails to be created.  This typically means either all even numbers machines or odd numbers machines fails to be created depending on what number you start with.

Check the Resource on the Host Connection to determine what storage is in use and then check that storage for issues on the Hypervisor.  In this case the customer did not have any previous catalogs on the Resource so they were able to remove the SR from the resource.

Problem Cause

Every other machine failing suggests the Resource on the Host Connection in Studio had multiple storage devices selected.  This would mean it would load balance the machine across those devices one by one.  If there was a problem with on of the storage devices, it would only fail creating machines on that storage.  In this instance the cause was one of the Xenserver SRs was in maintenance mode.
