This article addresses a known issue where launching published applications fails after upgrading a VDA to version 1912 CU9 due to a missing working directory. The issue affects multi-session VDAs with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops versions 1912 CU9 and can impact Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022. The first application launch typically fails, but subsequent launches succeed. In some cases, the initial launch may succeed but result in a directory error. A tested fix to resolve the issue is included.
