This known issue affects published applications in Multi-Session VDAs.

• VDAs are upgraded to 1912 CU9.

• Launching the first Published Application fails.

• Any subsequent application launch succeeds.

• In certain cases, the initial launch of the published application is successful but results in a Directory error.

The issue is reported in multi-session VDAs with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops versions 1912 CU9. 

It may affect Windows 2016 / 2019 / 2022

This issue will be resolved in 1912 Cumulative Update 10.  In the interim you may download a fix for this issue via the following link (login required):
