Service Continuity doesn’t work when using Citrix Workspace App for ChromeOS version 2312 or older. The Service Continuity banner doesn’t show up in case of Cloud outages on Citrix Workspace App for Chrome OS. This occurs even when Service Continuity is enabled via Google Admin Console for the client. 

Workaround Steps

Step 1. Upgrade to the latest version of CWA ChromeOS

Step 2. Contact Citrix Support with your Store URL. Citrix will enable Service Continuity for your environment.

Long Term Solution

Citrix is working on an updated version of CWA ChromeOS which will fix this issue and allow admins to configure Service Continuity themselves.

Problem Cause

This is due to an interoperable component change, that interfered with Service Continuity capability leading to incompatibility with previous CWA versions.
