User unable to launch the published application
"The published application you requested failed to start. The Citrix Server is unable to process your request to start this published application. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator."
Environment
Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.
Resolution
On the VDA server navigate to the below registry Location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Ica\Session
Right click on Session and select Permission
Check if TermService is added and has Full control and Read permission
If Term service is not present add NT Authority\ Network Service and provide full permission.
Some Group policy or Installer restriction can prevent adding the proper and required permissions

Problem Cause
Term Service is added to the Session registry's permissions by default while installing the VDASome Group policy or Installer restriction can prevent adding the proper and required permissions
