Minimum Cloud Connector Requirements:
 
To facilitate optimal Citrix Cloud functionality, operating at least two Cloud Connector servers is advised. This redundancy ensures that if one server encounters issues, the other can seamlessly take over, minimizing service disruption.
 
Cloud Connector Availability and Redundancy:
 
  • Install at least two Cloud Connectors in every resource location to support continuous availability.
  • When a Cloud Connector becomes unavailable, having multiple connectors in place allows for uninterrupted connectivity to the Citrix Cloud.
  • At least one Cloud Connector must remain operational to prevent any loss of communication with Citrix Cloud services.
 
Resource Location Independence:
 
  • The design should ensure that the user's access to resources is not solely dependent on a direct connection to Citrix Cloud.
  • By decentralizing the reliance on a single point of connectivity, resources remain accessible even in the event that a specific connection to Citrix Cloud is compromised.
