The secondary ringer feature for HDX optimized teams is only available if using Citrix Workspace app 2307.1 or higher along with the required minimum "shim" version in teams.

A "shim" is an API that can be used for teams. Citrix is involved in creating this API but it is distributed inside the MS teams client, therefore to ensure the feature is enabled, please make sure that in addition to using Workspace App 2307.1 or higher, the latest version of Microsoft Teams is also installed.

Problem Cause

The secondary ringer feature for HDX teams is not implemented in workspace app versions older than 2307.1. If you are using 2307.1 or higher, this article does not apply and you should refer to the Citrix Teams troubleshooting live article or contact Citrix Technical support for assistance.
