Description

  • Launching a desktop session via an anonymous store with auto launch results in the session being disconnected after 30 seconds
  • Citrix Director/Monitor would show the session failure as Logon Timeout

Resolution

Apply an additional registry key to the following locations on the VDA

Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp And / Or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\ICA-Tcp
Name: LogonTimeout
Type: DWORD
Value: 999999999

Note: The Decimal value sets it to the maximum of 999999999
