Resolution
Remove a space from connection string. Please see the steps below.
On the DDC open Powershell as administrator and run:
add-pssnapin Citrix.*
Check existing connection string using one of the cmdlets:
Get-MonitorDatastore
Get-MonitorDBConnection -DataStore Monitor
Copy the connection string, remove space and create variable, example:
$x = "Server=SQLSERVER\INSTANCE,12345;Initial Catalog=DataBaseName;Integrated Security=True"
Reset and change connection string:
Set-MonitorDBConnection -DataStore Monitor -DBConnection $null
Set-MonitorDBConnection -DataStore Monitor -DBConnection $x
Problem Cause
Space in the connection string.
