This article describes how to delete specific HTTP Request Header with rewrite policy in NetScaler.
Instructions
HTTP traffic is load balanced via NetScaler(NS) Load Balance Virtual Server, if you want to remove specific HTTP header named "client-ip" in NetScaler then implement the below:
Implement the Rewrite Policy in NetScaler cli and bind to the NetScaler Vserver:
add rewrite action delete_client_ip_header delete_http_header client-ip
add rewrite policy delete_client_ip_header_policy "HTTP.REQ.HEADER(\"client-ip\").EXISTS" delete_client_ip_header
bind lb vserver <vserver_name> -policyName delete_client_ip_header_policy -priority 100 -gotoPriorityExpression END -type REQUEST
