Local User Receives: ERROR: Not authorized to execute this command on CLI and in GUI.

Resolution

1. Check user under System > User Administration > Users
2. Edit affected user and check command policies bound to the user.

Via CLI:

show system user <userName>

3. Edit the policy name to check the action.

4. The error, not authorized to execute this command can result where the cmnd is not ".*" but rather "User Need Access".

Problem Cause

This is caused by the Command Policy's Command Spec configured.
