Description
Customers can set up their account recovery methods with the help of this article. In case customers misplace their device or are unable to utilize the authenticator app, this recovery method will allow them to log into Citrix
Instructions
Accessing the My Profile page
For Citrix Cloud:
- Sign In to https://cloud.citrix.com
- Click on the admin name in the top right and click My Profile
For other Citrix.com sites:
- Navigate to https://accounts.cloud.com/core/profile
- Log in with MyAccount username and password and continue with the below
Adding a recovery email (required for self-service recovery)
- Select Recovery email
- Enter an alternate email address where you can receive a recovery code
Setting up recovery phone (required)
- Select Add a recovery phone
- Enter a phone number that a Citrix Support representative can use to call you and verify your identity.
- Citrix Support uses this phone number only when you request help to sign in. Citrix recommends using a landline phone number.
Generating backup codes (required)
- Select Generate backup codes
- This will create a set of one-time use backup codes to help you sign in if you can’t use your authenticator app.
- When prompted, select Download codes to download backup codes as a text file.
- Select I’ve saved these codes and select Close
- Select Finish to complete the enrollment.
