Resolution
Check and correct the database connection strings
- On the Delivery Controller, open the PowerShell.
- Run the command "Get-Command Get-*DBConnection |select Name" to get all Database connection string commands.
- Execute all the commands we got in step 2 one by one
- Confirm the database server hostname is valid for all the Services
- Verify that the database server is running and reachable from Delivery Controller
- If connection string is not valid, Nullify the connection string and reset it.
Connection String example :
For the standalone SQL Server connection string:
"Server=<SQL Server Name or FQDN>;Initial Catalog=<Site Database Name>;Integrated Security=True"
For the database Mirroring connection string:
"Server=<Primary SQL Server Name or FQDN>; Initial Catalog=<Site Database Name>;Integrated Security=True; Failover Partner=<Secondary SQL Server Name or FQDN>"
For Always on High Availability connection string:
"Server=<Listener Name or FQDN>; Initial Catalog=<Site Database Name>;Integrated Security=True; MultiSubnetFailover=True"
