Resolution
- Nodes in the Hypervisor pool were partially upgraded. Master was 8.2CU1 and rest of the pool were 8.2.
- Upgrade all the hosts in the Pool to use the same version.
- Citrix do not support any changes to the VM while the Pool is in partially upgraded status.
Problem Cause
When you update MCS catalog, the corresponding base disks of the Targets are deleted and created again at Hypervisor level.
When the Pool is in partially upgraded status Target Disk creation fails since VDI.set_on_boot operation fails, VDI.set_on_boot operation fails since hypervisor doesn't allow it while the Pool is in partially upgrade status.
