Instructions

•    In the StoreFront console, under ‘Manage Receiver for Web Sites’, after selecting the desired store, there is an option within the ‘Deploy Citrix Receiver/ Workspace app’ area where you can set to Allow users to download HDX engine (plug in). When this is ticked, the users will be prompted if a new CWA version is available when they log on to the published resources store. 

•    The feature lets you set using an internal repository located in your company’s network, locally in the StoreFront server, or using the ‘Citrix website’. When selecting ‘Citrix website’ it will go directly to https://downloadplugins.citrix.com/Windows/CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe

•    The URL is embedded in the StoreFront store web config file and you will see one for Windows and another for MacOS. To confirm that the URL is there, do the following:
   
•    These URLs can be used manually at any time and the latest CWA will be downloaded automatically.

•    Important to note that these URLs only download the Workspace app within the Current Release type. We don’t have an URL available for newer Cumulative Updates within the LTSR type.
