Description
1, Enabled Adaptive audio via citrix poicy.
2, Connect to desktop VDA with thinclient CWAL.
3, The process wfica on the thinclient will crash due to illegal instruction.ew
Resolution
Check if the processor support AVX-512. If not, there are 2 options can be applied, you can either:
- Disable Adaptive audio.
- Upgrade to CWAL 2112.
Problem Cause
There are AVX-512 instruction set in the library OPUS.DLL. Some processor does not this instruction set.Issue/Introduction
Some thinclient processor does not support AVX-512 instructions. In CWAL 2109, the OPUS codec library(OPUS.DLL) contains this instruction set. Need to upgrade to CWAL 2112 to avoid crash.
