VDA upgrade fails with an error. "Failed to install component 'Microsoft Remote Desktop Session Host'. 'dism' component failed to install with error 0x000005AA."

Part 1:

• Uninstall the VDA using the VDA Cleanup Utility
• Reboot the Machine as prompted
• Run the VDA installer as Administrator

Part 2:

• If the issue persists after following Part 1, remove and re-add the 'Microsoft Remote Desktop Session Host' server feature from the Server Manager
• If feature removal fails with the error "0x800705AA and insufficient system resource exist to complete the requested service", take a full system backup of the server and follow the below steps
  • Open CMD as administrator
  • Run sfc /scannow
  • In case the command fails with the error "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation" " run chkdsk /r 
• Reboot the Machine 
• Install the VDA
