The Citrix Studio console takes a long time to open. With the console opened moving between the console options (catalogs, policies, etc) takes several minutes to navigate.

Resolution

  1. Disable Check for publisher’s certificate revocation as per CTX139325.
  2. Validate that the minimum version of .Net is installed. For reference, the system requirements would be listed under https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/system-requirements.html#delivery-controller
  3. Ensure that port 80 is whitelisted and accessible bi-directional between all the Delivery controllers in the site
  4. In case of Multi-Domain and Multi geographical site setup, validate the latency of communication between the Delivery controllers, that could add up to the overall turn around time
