• The customer is unable to install the VDA software in a new VM
• When running the ISO to install components, he goes through the wizard with no problems, but when finishing, he gets an error about the “Citrix Universal Print Client failed with error code 1603”
• Searching the Windows event viewer, we found event 11920 saying “Product Citrix Universal Print Client – Error 1920. Service ‘Print Spooler (spooler) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start the system service’ 
• The event time matches the attempts performed by the customer
• Checking the Windows Services we found that Print Spooler was disabled

Problem Cause

• The Print Spooler Service was disabled in the new Virtual Machines. 

• The customer talked to his Windows team and confirmed that there was a GPO disabling the Print Spooler service in the machines
