• The customer was running WEM version 1811 and upgraded to version 2103
• They had memory and CPU utilization settings applied via WEM that were working fine
• They noticed after the upgrade that memory load in the VDAs started spiking above 80% even though they have set memory optimization rules via WEM to keep memory below 80%
• After doing extensive monitoring, they confirmed that all VDAs (WEM agents) are exhibiting the same so the memory optimization is not working
• The only change done to the site was the WEM upgrade, before, everything was working fine

• The solution for this issue is to upgrade the WEM components to the latest version
• As workaround, the option is to edit the parameter ‘EnableMemOptAvailableMemThreshold’ under table ‘VUEMSystemUtitilies’ and set it to ‘0’ in the WEM DB
