Description

When attempting to run the ctxsetup.sh scipt to complete LInux VDA setup, we see the error message says "Failed to resolve roletype statement at /var/lib/selinux/targeted/tmp/modules/400/XenDesktopVDA/cil:2 /usr/sbin/semodule: Failed!" and the setup fails to complete

Resolution

Ensure that the ipa-selinux package is installed.

yum-install ipa-selinux
