If you have users that use Workspace app for Linux or Android to access virtual apps or desktops through Gateway Service, they may be unable to launch sessions after Enlightened Data Transport (EDT) is enabled in Gateway Service

Resolution

To avoid issues, please make sure to complete one of the following by 31st July 2021.

  1. Upgrade Linux devices to Workspace app for Linux 2104+, and Android devices to Workspace app for Android 21.5+.

  2. Configure the pre-requisites to use EDT with Gateway Service. Details are available in the documentation .

  3. Disable Adaptive Transport via Citrix policy in Studio.

Please  Note:

  • Non-Windows thin clients use Workspace app for Linux.
  • This is specific to Linux and Android. Other client platforms are not affected.
