Description
Redirecting Ingenico credit card readers does not work as expected in Epic applications after upgrading to Citrix Workspace App for Windows 1912 CU4.
Resolution
- Public fix for this issue is included with Citrix Workspace App for Windows 1912 CU5 (planned for release later this year).
- As a workaround, a private fix, Citrix Workspace app for Windows 1912 LTSR CU4 Hotfix 2 (19.12.4002), can be deployed until the above mentioned public fix is released.
Problem Cause
Changes included 1912 CU4, that were related to COM port redirection, caused incorrect processing of COM port address for devices using COM port greater than 9.
