Description

The customer created a new PVS master vDisk with Windows 10 1909 and VDA version 2103
He also created two target devices and promoted the vDisk to test
When launching a Desktop session or logging in to the master vDisk, it takes up to 20 minutes to log on
As a test, the customer renamed his profile and after that he can log in quicker
In production all Catalogs are running VDA 7.15CU6 and have no problems, the issue is only this new vDisk
As per recent changes, back in January, they created new profiles for everyone due to a failure in December 2020
Then, he upgraded the Site (License, Director, SF, DDCs, PVS and FAS) to version 2103, but the VDAs are still running 7.15CU6 and will be upgraded soon

Resolution

Creating exclusion lists according to the documents below resolved the issue:

Problem Cause

VMWare Carbon Black Sensor was generating the issue
