Description

  • VDA system time is not consistent with the system time of the other domain machines.
  • Users report the inability to log on to the domain
  • Variety of system events might be logged in VDA's Event viewer with reference to GPO processing failures, domain trust relationship and Kerberos errors, and Windows time sync events

Resolution

  1. Manually re-sync correct time settings on the VDAs if they are manually provisioned
  2. Re-sync the time on PVS vDisk on a Maintenance/Private mode if the VDAs are manually provisioned

To re-sync the time follow the below steps:
  1. Cmd: W32tm /unregister
  2. Stop windows time service 
  3. Cmd: W32tm /register
  4. Start windows time service
  5. Cmd: W32tm /resync
  6. Reboot the machine
