Experiencing audio delays when using a Linux based thin client with a IP phone applications for example using Avaya
Resolution
1. PulseBuffer needs to be increased from its default value between 1024 and 8192.
- Note: A value that is too high might cause jittering in playback, while a value that is too low might cause the thin client to crash.
- Please consult the specific documentation for your particular Thin Client model to find where to change the PulseBuffer values.
2. Change AudioLatencyControlEnabled to AudioLatencyControlEnabled=True
- From the Thin Client file system, using a text editor, open the $ICAROOT/config/module.ini file
- In the [WFClient] section, change AudioLatencyControlEnabled to AudioLatencyControlEnabled=True
