Description

Power state in Studio toggles between "unknown" and "on" or "off" for VMs hosted in Azure.

You may find the below entries in the hosting connection test or in the CDF traces

Error: Invalid connection settings.
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Net.Http, Version=4.2.0.0

Resolution

  1. Validate the minimum system requirements in the product documentation system requirements section
  2. Install the respective version on all the DDCs
  3. Restart the Citrix Host service/reboot all the DDCs one by one during off-business hours.


Note: At the time of this article's creation, .Net 4.7.2 is the minimum system requirement for the DDCs. This is subject to change with the newer DDC versions.
