The Citrix App-V component software is installed and enabled by default during the Citrix VDA software installation.
Uninstalling the Citrix App-V service plugin from the VDA.
Instructions
It is not possible to uninstall the the Citrix AppV service plugin from the Programs and Features GUI, it must be uninstalled using PowerShell or command line.
Run PowerShell as Administrator and type command:
$app = Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_Product -Filter "Name = 'Citrix Personalization AppV - VDA'"$app.Uninstall()NOTE: The command will not work if the installers have been removed from the C:\Windows\Installer folder.
