Unable to stop and remove pending MCS machine creation
Resolution
Ensure valid SQL backups exist before proceeding
Run get-provtask -active $true on DDC to obtain the task ID of the hung task
In Site DB navigate to DesktopUpdateManagerSchema].[TaskBase] and delete the line with the taskID in question

Problem Cause
