Description
While you are creating a hosting connection to Azure, attempts to create a new service principle fail with this error:
- “Application with identifier '48146095-9379-46a6-b300-8badcd621417' was not found in the directory…”

Resolution
You (administrators) need to create a config file named "AzureRMEnvironmentConfig.json" under the installation folder of Citrix Studio. Complete the following steps:
- On the Citrix Studio machine, download the zip file attached to this article.
- Unzip the file to a convenient folder.
- Copy the file and paste it under the installation folder of Studio.
Problem Cause
Citrix deprecated Azure public cloud connections in CVAD 2003. For more information, see
https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX270373 . On CVAD 1906, 1909, 1912 versions, the Microsoft Azure connection is still available. If you attempt to create a hosting connection to Azure, this issue occurs when you create a new service principle. The issue occurs because the app “48146095-9379-46a6-b300-8badcd621417” becomes corrupted unexpectedly.
