Description
ICA Latency is incorrectly showing as 64,000 ms when using EDT via Citrix Gateway
Resolution
The issue is resolved in the following firmware releases:
12.1.62.x +
13.0.84.x +
13.1.11.x +
This issue is also documented in the fixed issues section of the release notes:
The ICA latency of a session is recorded incorrectly as 64,000 ms in the Citrix Director when L7 latency is enabled. L7 latency is enabled when the nsapimgr
knob enable_ica_l7_latency
is set to 1.
[ NSHELP-23459 ]
The below workaround may be implemented if immediate upgrade is not possible:
1. Enable the EDT Insight functionality using the knob “nsapimgr -ys enable_ica_edtinsight=1”
2. Disable the L7 latency functionality using the knob “nsapimgr -ys enable_ica_l7_latency=0”
Problem Cause
Firmware issue (NSHELP-23459)
Additional Information
From Citrix ADC release 13.0 build 83.17 and later, you can specify a time interval, in seconds, for which the L7 client latency value is to be calculated. This configuration is required if you have enabled L7 latency and the ICA latency of a session is incorrectly recording as 64,000 ms.
