Application disappears at "Please wait for the local session manager" stage. Application session when viewed in in Studio shows as being as in a pre-logon state
Resolution
Set the following policies via group polcy and apply them to the VDA
Location: Administrative templates\windows components\remote desktop services\remote desktop connection client
Policy name: prompt for credentials on the client computer
Setting: disabled.
Location: Administrative templates\windows components\remote desktop services\remote desktop session host\security
Policy name: always prompt for password upon connections-
Setting: disabled.
Location: Administrative templates\windows components\remote desktop services\remote desktop connection client
Policy name: prompt for credentials on the client computer
Setting: disabled.
Location: Administrative templates\windows components\remote desktop services\remote desktop session host\security
Policy name: always prompt for password upon connections-
Setting: disabled.
Problem Cause
Session waiting for logonui.exe / local session manager
